About VerifyFiltering
Verify Filter is a free service built by CleanBrowsing Inc. in partnership with Friendly WiFi. It helps organizations independently verify that their networks comply with filtering guidelines set forth by regulatory bodies in their jurisdiction — or with their own internal acceptable use policies (AUP).
How it works
The scanner tests your network's DNS filtering against lists of domains known to fall within specific content categories, then gives you a clear pass/fail rating.
Pick the compliance profile that applies to you — CIPA, UK Safer Internet, Friendly WiFi — or build a custom test from individual content categories.
From any device on the network you want to test, start the scan. Nothing is installed and no traffic is intercepted.
The scanner checks how your network resolves domains known to fall within each selected content category.
See a pass/fail result per category, with a detailed status breakdown and recommendations. Download the full report as a PDF to share or file.
